Interesting Facts:
I am originally from the Island of Trinidad & Tobago West Indies. I've been living in Los Angeles for over 20 years and I have been working as a professional Postpartum Doula/ Baby Nurse for the past 15 years. My love for baby nursing started when I was the nanny to a newborn up until he started preschool, and having raised two children of my own that are now grown-ups instilled the mothering qualities for my profession. Having been married for 10 years to my awesome, supportive husband that accepts me for being me and supports me pursuing my dream career doing what I love.
A nurtures at heart, a great listener that becomes attuned with your newborn needs. One of my greatest attributes told to me by past clients are "I'm just a calm person, easy to get along with and have a caring heart for newborns". I've also been called the "Miracle Baby Nurse/ the Baby Whisperer & Mary Poppins" by several of my clients.
If you're looking for a postpartum Doula with lots of extra love for newborn's, someone that instills confidence, support &guidance into my clients so when my time has ended, they have enough confidence in themselves, knowledgeable and happy parents. With new families I'm the perfect candidate for the job, I take pride in my job and my duties as a Postpartum Doula. I've worked for several families throughout the Los Angeles area, off and on from 2009, but became totally committed to my calling in 2011 to present. Having at least 5-6 clients per year, with the time frame of 6 weeks to 3 months, sometimes longer per client request. I am able to provide clients with 24 hours or 12 hours night services, per client's request.
Objective:
To assist families with the transition into life with a newborn in the first days and weeks of life. My goal is to ensure that each individual needs are met, while providing hands-on guidance, compassionate and evidence based newborn care service.
Qualifications/Certifications:
- CPR & First Aid Certified (infants/Toddlers)
- Experience working with high-profile families
- Fully Vaccinated Covid19 -Pfizer Vaccine
Duties Included:
Feeding, bathing, diapering, sleep training and cord circumcision care.
Assist with newborn care and breastfeeding.
Entertain newborns with talking, singing, playing music, baby soothing and reading.
Bottle feed and help mother with breastfeeding during nighttime.
Establish feeding and sleeping schedules.
Effectively document all activities and baby responses. Assist with baby clothes laundering and changing of bed linen.

Develop a daily routine for baby.
Properly sterilizing pump parts, bottles, bottle warmers, humidifier.
Ensure nursery is organized and fully stocked.
Attend Doctor visits with Only 24HR Clients
Care for Singleton, Preemies, Twins, Triplets
